What’s Turbo Like?
Meet Turbo the Talking Tractor — part friendly farmhand, part rolling fairground mascot, and part larger-than-life agricultural personality.
Imagine your favorite country storyteller somehow became the official welcoming committee for your fair. With a warm southern drawl, a quick wit, and enough farm stories to last all week long, Turbo loves meeting guests, hearing about local 4-H and National FFA Organization projects, and making folks smile one conversation at a time.
He may move slow, but his mind sure doesn’t. Turbo is packed full of jokes, agricultural trivia, tall tales from the farm, and the occasional strong opinion about weather, crops, or whether those collards are growing right this season.
Most importantly, Turbo creates the kind of genuine fairground interaction people remember long after the Ferris Wheel’s light dims. He was designed to make guests feel like they experienced a little bit of that classic fair magic we all remember growing up.
Why Was Turbo Created?
Turbo was built from a love of agricultural fairs and a desire to create something completely original for the fair industry.
We wanted an attraction that celebrated agriculture in a fun, modern, and unforgettable way while pushing the boundaries of what guests expect to see walking around the grounds. As technology made larger-than-life interactive characters more possible, an idea that had been floating around in creator Daniel Jolley’s head for years finally became reality.
With the launch of the Farm to Fair educational show in 2023, it became clear there also needed to be a strolling attraction that could stand alongside the show itself — not just promote it. And be booked separately with it’s own strength.
Turbo creates spontaneous interactions, memorable photo opportunities, and genuine conversations with guests of all ages. Kids run up to him from across the midway. Families stop to talk. Adults take photos. And fairgoers leave talking about “the talking tractor” long after the event is over.
Turbo also offers strong sponsorship opportunities thanks to his highly visual design, family appeal, and agricultural focus.
Sometimes it’s worth pushing the limits just to create something that makes people smile, and Turbo has been doing that since day 1.
Daytime & Nighttime Entertainment
Turbo performs up to:
- Four 30-minute strolling sets per day
or - Three 45-minute strolling sets per day
He can appear in designated meet-and-greet areas or roam the fairgrounds as directed by your event.
Turbo is fully illuminated for nighttime appearances and happily performs in rain or poor weather conditions. The operator remains dry and comfortable inside the tractor, allowing performances to continue even when the weather changes.

Despite looking like a machine straight out of a movie, Turbo is not remote controlled. He is operated live from the inside like a giant interactive puppet, creating natural conversations and real-time guest interaction.
Top speed: approximately 3mph (Turbo prefers a relaxed country pace, plus he literally can’t go faster.)
Technical Requirements
Provided by Event:
- Minimum 10ft x 10ft staging area away from heavy guest traffic
- Access to 110v / 15amp electricity within 100ft
- Space for privacy tent setup unless indoors
If booked alongside the Farm to Fair Show, the show area may also serve as Turbo’s staging location.
Additional accommodations:
- RV space, hotel room, or other accommodations negotiated with contract
